Werewolf Mods
Mods that deal with any aspect of lycanthropy. Note that some mod descriptions may include spoilers for Bloodmoon.
Alternate Werewolf Textures by Psymoniser
Requires Bloodmoon
Contains 9 color variations on the Bloomoon Werewolf textures. This is to allow people the choice of what they would like their Werewolves to look like. The image on this page shows 6 of the 9 colors, the others being slight variations on black, gray, and brown/red, however there are images of all the colors in the 7z file. There is no ESP and the texture chosen will change all Bloodmoon Werewolves to that color.
Be A Beast by Tahnu Sheppard
Requires Tribunal and Bloodmoon
This mod adds an amulet in the Skaal Village on a tree stump that gives you 100% disease weakness so those immune to common disease can now become a vampire and werewolf by wearing it and then fighting one of them. Once you have caught the disease, you can then take it off.
Bloodmoon Werewolf Realism by Sabregirl
Requires Tribunal and Bloodmoon
A collection of tweaks to make werewolves seem more realistic. Bloodlust is now based on your willpower - the higher your willpower, the less you need to kill. Forced werewolf transformation now only occurs on full moon nights and there is now a script that warns you of moon phases. Includes a Daggerfall-style Hircine Ring, so do not use this mod with the Hircine Ring Fix mod. You can now become a werewolf before the Bloodmoon main quest and still do the werewolf quests. You also gain attribute bonuses in human form for being a werewolf. A few new werewolf NPCs have been added to several caves. For each NPC you kill in werewolf form, you will regain health and all the werewolf quests have better rewards. You will also receive an enhancement to werewolf form after defeating Hircine. This mod includes two ESPs; one includes "change at will" functionality, the other does not.
Bloodmoon Werewolf Replacement Textures (Arctic Bloodmoon / Dark Bloodmoon) by Emberwolf
Requires Bloodmoon
These are just textures, designed to change the look of your werewolf. The only side effect is every other instance of the Bloodmoon werewolf will look the same but there are no game stopping technical conflicts. There are Arctic Bloodmoon and Dark Bloodmoon textures. Screenshots.
CharGen Diseases by Marbred
Requires Bloodmoon
This mod allows you to select during the Character Generation stage to have either no disease, the werewolf disease or any of the vampire clan diseases. It's simple and easy. An update of the older CharGen Vampire and Chargen Werewolf mods. Do not load with any other CharGen Vampire or Werewolf mods.
CharGen Werewolf by Marbred
Requires Bloodmoon
This is meant to let you become a werewolf right from the get-go when you create a new character, but can also be used anytime during the game; just step into the Seyda Neen Census Office and you acquire the werewolf disease. Do not load with any other CharGen Vampire or Werewolf mods.
Friendly 2 Werewolves by Aragorthen Gonderi
Requires Bloodmoon
Ever hated how NPCs will chase you from Balmora to Caldera just for being a werewolf? Ever wanted people to not even notice you even though you are hairy, flee ridden and eating their wife? I did, so I made this mod. It is a simple mod, it edits two GMSTs, the werewolf fight mod and the werewolf flee mod so people no longer attack and kill you on sight.
Regionally Known Werewolves by Zennorious
Requires Tribunal and Bloodmoon
Do you hate it when you change to werewolf form or back and somebody sees you and then the whole world knows that you're a werewolf so nobody will speak to you anymore and everybody attacks you? The only way to make the NPCs friendly again was to load back a previous savegame or cure yourself of lycanthropy. With this mod when you become a known werewolf in an area, you aren't known as a werewolf throughout the whole world. When you become a known werewolf somewhere after a certain period of time, people of that area will forget that they saw you changing from the one form to the other. The bounty you get when you become a known werewolf is also removed by this mod. 37 original in-game towns and Imperial fortresses will remember your werewolf status. The mod can remember every area where you are a known werewolf. You cannot become a known werewolf in the Skaal Village, in the Gloomy cave and near the Altar of Thrond. The original in-game PCKnownWerewolf global variable will dynamically change its value. After a certain number of days people will forget that you are a werewolf. The default value is 30 days. It is possible to change how many days people will remember that you are a werewolf. When you change from human form to werewolf you won't get a bounty. When you change back, you will lose all the bounty you got when you were in werewolf form. Message boxes will inform you when you enter an area where you are a known werewolf and will also tell you that how many days you have to wait till the locals forget you are a werewolf.
Vampire Werewolf by Cortex
Requires Bloodmoon
Allows vampires to become werewolves, allows werewolves to become vampires, fixes the vampire werewolf head bug, and includes a choice of 4 different heads for your vampire werewolf. Cortex recommends for use with this mod Werewolf Evolution. This will among other things, allow you to add your vampire bonuses to your werewolf form. Without this mod the vampire werewolf form has the same fixed attributes as a normal werewolf.
Vampire Werewolf - Werewolf Realism Patch by Blade9722
Requires Bloodmoon
Requires Bloodmoon Werewolf Realism by Sabregirl Vampire Werewolf by Cortex
This is a trivial fix which allows to play Sabregirl Werewolf Realism and Cortex Vampire Werewolf mods together. It simply changes Sabregirl WereCheckScript by commenting three lines in the exact way that Vampire Werewolf does.
Were-better (Alternate Download Link) by Sabregirl
Requires Tribunal and Bloodmoon
This plugin is all about Bloodmoon werewolves and makes it a bit better to be (and stay) a werewolf. It allows you to become a werewolf outside of the Bloodmoon main quest, WITHOUT breaking it. Once you beat the Bloodmoon main quest you only have to transform into a werewolf at the full moon. Being a werewolf now gives you a stat bonus to your non-were form. Beware, you will lose it if you choose to cure your lycanthropy.
Were-betterer by Sabregirl
Requires Tribunal and Bloodmoon
The difference between the two is that Were-better stops all but full moon transformations only AFTER you beat the Bloodmoon main quest. Were-betterer stops them for all but the middle of the Bloodmoon main quest. Just remember that for Were-better until you beat the Bloodmoon main quest there's no way for you to transform into a werewolf at will.
Werewolf Clans of Vvardenfell (Alternate Download Link) by Sabregirl
Requires Tribunal and Bloodmoon
Adds wild werewolves (of various colors/clans: gold, red black and white) roaming all over Vvardenfell at night. The werewolf clans each have different fur colors and abilities. You can join the clans just as you do vampire clans - by infection from a werewolf of that clan. No quests are involved but each clan has a lair you can visit. This mod is still a beta (probably permanently) however the oddities with it are mostly cosmetic and don't overly affect gameplay.
Werewolf Evolution by Cortex
Requires Bloodmoon
A balanced mod for werewolves. Makes werewolf attributes and skills depend on their value in human form plus a bonus, instead of them having fixed values that don't change regardless of how strong or weak you are in human form. The bonuses are calculated so that a person with 50 in each of his human attributes and skills will become a standard bloodmoon werewolf. If you have attributes or skills above 50, your werewolf will have them higher than normal. If you have attributes or skills below 50, your werewolf will have them lower than normal. This means as you go up levels and advance those attributes and skills useful to your werewolf, your werewolf form will become more powerful than the standard werewolf. It is game balanced as a low level werewolf will have many traits below 50 in human form so will be less powerful than the standard werewolf.
Werewolf Forget by Jaxalot
Requires Bloodmoon
Ever thought it was annoying that once you were sighted changing in or out of Werewolf form, there was no way to get back to normal life? This mod changes that. A certain amount of time after you're spotted transforming to or from werewolf form, the NPCs will all forget about it. This amount of time, in days, is determined with the following formula. Wait Time = 30 + (Reputation/10) + (Bounty/10) + Numerical Ranks in Telvanni, Redoran, Hlaalu, Mage, and Fighter Guilds. Each time the player is sighted transforming to or from werewolf form without first being forgotten, the wait time is extended by an additional 30 days. It is recommended that you sleep for three days once you are forgotten to reset the fight setting of any NPCs that have attacked you the day you were forgotten, just to be safe.
Werewolf Package (Direct Download Link) by GlassBoy
Requires Bloodmoon
This mod package is for Bloodmoon werewolf users. It includes 2 mods that will give you warning messages two hours before you transform and allows you to change to a werewolf and back whenever you want (except while swimming) once you have defeated Hircine and have lycanthropy. You change form by pressing the sneak button for less than half a second. You will receive a confirmation message box to prevent accidentally changing.
Werewolf ReEquip (Alternate Download Link) by Yacoby
Requires Bloodmoon
Requires MWSE v0.9.4a or later
This mod makes it so that when you change back to a human from a werewolf, all your clothes are reequipped, rather than you having to reequip them.
Werewolf Re-Textures by TheCandleThief
Requires Bloodmoon
Gives you 8 original werewolf re-textures, complete with matching first person hands. To use [them, rename the texture of your choice Tx_Creature_werewolf and drop them in your Textures folder.
Werewolves Episode I - The Forgotten Fear by McAsmod team
Requires Tribunal
Werewolves have been added all over Vvardenfell, appearing at night from 8PM to 6AM. Lycanthropy is a special curse that can't be cured by any classical way. There is no cure (as the cure was meant to be added in Episode 2, which will never be made). Has the following features: vampires (not cured ones) are immune to lycanthropy.; when you've got lycanthropy, you must transform every night when at least one of the moons (Masser and Secunda) is full as both moons have an effect on werewolves and they will be much stronger when both moons are full; changing into a werewolf only occurs at night and you go back to normal in the morning; the influence of the moon works indoor and outdoor, there no need to be able to see them to feel their influence; you take on a wholly different form as a werewolf, removing all of your equipment with many of your stats lowered, some stats boosted and magic disabled.
