Atmospheric Sound Effects (Alternate Download Link) by Duncan
This mod adds over 220 sound effects to the entire land of Vvardenfell. There are 13,621 emission points in exterior locations, 283 points in taverns for sound effects, 20 for music, and 180 inside Daedric shrines. Most sounds are randomly picked, play at random time intervals, and are controlled by weather conditions and day/night cycles. In swampy areas, at night, you'll hear crickets only when it's clear or cloudy. Frogs ribbit in all but thunder, ash, or blight storms. Three types of owls hide in thunder, ash, or blight storms, while three more types of owls come out only in clear or cloudy conditions. During the day, you'll hear a wide assortment of swampy sounds, 26 in all with 5 random pitch variations each, coming from the ground and trees. Other regions have a similar setup but with their own unique sounds.
Daggerfall Exploration Music by Karl Christmas
This is a small selection of tracks from Daggerfall that will play as the normal ambient music in the game. It does not replace any of the original game files, but instead adds the music to the folder. If you wish to listen to the music out of the game, go into the Data Files/Music/Explore folder. All music in this mod is marked: Daggerfall .
Daggerfall Music Pack by Zenogias

Fireside Refrain: Daggerfall Music Pack 5 (Alternate Download Link) by Zenogias
This is a pack of 7 more mp3s based on music from Daggerfall, this time focused on folk or 'bard' style pieces. These are the songs included in this pack: Folk1, Folk2 and Folk3 - 3 folk tunes building on a similar theme in different ways; Square - typically heard in taverns (as opposed to a town square!) and incredibly catchy, sometimes annoying; Street (Remix of Square) - an alternate version with slightly different instrumentation and mastering providing a different feel of being played out in the street; Shop Theme - curious, industrious, yet somehow somber and thoughtful, sweeping and grand; Shop Theme (Chamber Version) - an alternate version arranged for 3 winds, harpsichord, and harp.

Lord Lionmane's Music Pack 2 by Lord Lionmane
This Music Pack simply adds 2 new songs to Morrowind. You can listen to them anytime by double clicking on the sound files, or in-game while exploring (Rainy Days.mp3) or doing battle (Dark Intentions.mp3).
Morrowind Music Overdose by Jon Babb
Adds new music for Morrowind composed and performed by Jon Babb and the Johnson City Symphony Orchestra. All the music is replaced, except for maybe two or three battle themes. All this music was made to loop, so if anything repeats, it will sound right, unlike its predecessors. All this music was made especially to fit Morrowind's regional landscapes, to fit the image within your mind, and try to bring some diversity into your Morrowind experience. Enjoy the music.
Morrowind Music Overdose 2 by Jon Babb
Composed by Jon Babb and performed by the Johnson City Symphony, this sequel to Morrowind Music Overdose adds music made under emotional times. Recommended that you combine this with the first Morrowind Music Overdose to get the ultimate music experience.
Music Boxes by Xiamara
This plugin adds 8 different portable music boxes for sale from Andryla Rethis in Sadrith Mora. You can find her at a market stall just to the left of Fara's Hole in the Wall. When you use the music box (by clicking on it in your character portrait), it will give you a choice of 8 mp3 songs to play. Each of the 8 music boxes has its own 8 individual mp3 files attached to it, allowing you up to 64 different songs. Currently, the songs included in this mod are just short general music samples (for download size control). However, the idea is that you will replace these copies with your own favourite mp3 music. You can customise the music for each of the boxes according to your own themes, moods and musical tastes! Please read the readme file for full details.
Ominous Cloud: Daggerfall Music Pack 6 by Zenogias
This is a pack of 3 more mp3s based on music from Daggerfall, this time focused on darker ambient pieces. These are the songs included in this pack: Dagger9, a short, simple piece; Dagger10, a comparatively lengthy (3 minute) synthetic piece which is arranged for strings; Dagger28, a softer, simple ambient piece.
Round About The Iliac: Daggerfall Music Pack 4 by Zenogias
This is a pack of 5 more mp3s based on music from Daggerfall, this time focused mostly on general town/exploration music. These are the songs included: Dagger02 - early morning, chilly air, still barely a hint of sunlight over the mountains of High Rock; Dagger03 - roaming the busy streets at around noon, somewhat lost; Dagger25 - once again, often heard in early morning, still dark, wandering more rural areas such as small villages; Palace - heard when wandering around palaces; Ruins - a peaceful introduction as you enter soon grows into something quite eerie.
Swiveller's Immersive Sounds for Morrowind (Alternate Download Link) by Mr Swiveller
This mod aims to provide a rich and engaging sound experience which has little, if any, impact on game performance, even on lower-end machines. It does this by using the 'ambient sound function' built into Morrowind to play rich, high-quality audio files which were recorded in outdoor environments in Southern and Western Europe. In addition, the mod provides MP3 recordings of various animals which can be used instead of the game's music files. If combined, the ambient sound files and MP3's provide varied soundscapes whose realism is further enhanced by the unpredictable nature of the MP3 play order. Expect to hear varying combinations of blackbirds, coots, donkeys, woodpeckers, rustling leaves, and a large variety of other natural sounds.
Swiveller's Immersive Sounds: MP3 Expansion Pack (Alternate Download Link) by Mr Swiveller
This mod adds the sounds of fifteen animals to Morrowind. While this is intended as an expansion pack for version 1.1 of the Swiveller's Immersive Sounds Morrowind mod, it can also be used as a standalone music replacer or add-on. Eleven of the recordings were made in Europe and Asia Minor; the other recordings were made in the Indian subcontinent.
The Epic Soundtrack by Veritas Splendor
This is a music mod. It will extend the explore loop by about 40%, thus making the music less repetitive. These are all excellent quality tracks that are diverse, sometimes peaceful, sometimes dramatic. They are composed by professional artist, Kirill Pokrovsky. Full disclaimer about copyrights is included in the readme. These tracks were chosen to blend in with the Morrowind atmosphere but also add to it.
The Morrowind Orchestra by [Sean R. Beeson]
This is "The Morrowind Orchestra Op. 1," a set of all original music composed by Sean Beeson. A lot of this music should be used for modding and more specific purposes but can be used for general in-game music.
Vengeance: Daggerfall Music Pack 3 by Zenogias
This is a pack of 6 more mp3s based on music from Daggerfall, this time focusing mainly on darker, more eerie themes. Unlike Pack 2, most pieces included are fairly suitable as general exploration music in Morrowind. However due to the somewhat 'darker' and mysterious nature of these themes, players with darker characters or who are currently exploring places like Mournhold may find them particularly suitable. These are the songs included: Bad, Curse, Dagger7, Dagger8, Dagger13 and Dagger21.
Ydur's Lute by Ydur
Adds both a Special Lute, found upstairs on the table in Balmora Eight Plates, and detailed instructions on how to use it: how to change the in-game music and substitute your own favorites, for both mod users and authors.
