Mod Errors
Common mod errors, what causes them, what problems they cause, and how to fix them.
Error #1
Error
One of the files that "Mod.esp" is dependent on has changed since the last save. This may result in errors. Saving again will clear this message but not necessarily fix any errors. One or more plugins could not find the correct versions of the master files they depend on.
Cause
This error means that the mod was made with a different (usually earlier) version of Morrowind/Tribunal/Bloodmoon.
Problems
In most cases, this error causes no problems, and can be ignored.
Solution
If it annoys you, you can get rid of the error by opening the TESCS, loading Morrowind, (and Tribunal and/or Bloodmoon, if you have them), as well as the mod with the error. Set the mod as the active file. Once everything is done loading, save the mod, and quit. You have to do this invidually for each mod with this "error." You can also use TESTool to get rid of this problem. Use "Update Header" under "Manage Active Plugins."
