Darker Morrowind by Michael 'HelioS' Bennett

This plugin endeavors to create a more foreboding and enticing atmosphere for Morrowind. It customizes Morrowind.INI, replaces almost every texture in Morrowind with darker and higher detail environment textures, significantly alters the weather and lighting for Morrowind so it is generally more appealing to the eyes (i.e fewer ash storms, more overcast weather, far fewer foggy days and more storms) and more. Illuminated Windows by Drkangl66

Requires Tribunal

Creates a more realistic atmospheric experience throughout Morrowind/Mournhold. All windows, shack doors, and mushroom doors are now illuminated during the night with improved scripting to turn them off during the day. Interior windows, blocked windows and shack doors are also illuminated with daylight during the day. Some exterior windows now have randomized lighting to create the illusion of activity inside. A Bloodmoon ESP is also included with the same features listed above. Raven Rock also has specially scripted windows, objects and lighting that grow as the settlement grows. Finally, Tribunal and Bloodmoon each have their own ASE (Duncan's Atmospheric Sound Effects) ESP. This has been added to bring villages and taverns to life. Duncan's Atmospheric Sound Effects must be installed for these options to function. Other enhancements have also been included.

Light the Way by Enmesharra

This is a very simple mod that adds a bit of atmosphere. Gives various transport NPCs torches or lanterns, so that they don't just stand out there in the dark. Caravaners (Silt Strider) get torches while Shipmasters and Gondaliers get lanterns (open torches on wooden boats aren't a good idea). A Bloodmoon addon is available.

Lights 300 with Icons by Byblos

This mod reworks all lights in the game to be more plentiful, colorful, dynamic, magical, realistic, dynamic and magical: Red Candlesticks now have red flames, light and are called Ruby Candles; Green Candelsticks have green flames, light and are called Emerald Emeralds; the same goes with all the other colors; adds a few new types of candles such as black candles with red flames (called Daedric Candles) and White Candles with white flames (called Aedric Candles). All interiors are slightly darkened to make source lights more dominant over the ambient light. Dungeons are now mostly pitch black with the exception of the source lights. Torches have longer expiration times with bigger and brighter radii so that they are actually useful.

ModMan's Windowlights (Alternate Download Link) by ModMan

Adds over 1000 lights to the exterior windows of most houses to light up the nights of Vvardenfell, for an atmospheric effect. Lights go off during daylight hours, too. No NPCs, no quests - just lots and lots of light.

Realistic Color Config for Morrowind by Daerk

Adjusts the atmospheric color and lighting in the game by performing Morrowind.ini tweaks. Does the following: enables FPS display, optimizes load-handling and minimizes "lag-pauses" by disabling thread-loading, makes Water more realistic, disables fog transparencies, thus increasing FPS and general performance, enables screenshot capture functionality and renames prefix of "Screenshot" to "SS"

Spuzzum's Interior Daylight by Spuzzum

Requires Tribunal

Adds a subtle but very good-looking glow effect to many interior windows. During the day time, these windows will glow with daylight; at night, they will be dark. At 5 AM, the windows will gradually fade in from complete darkness up to complete brightness at 7 AM, remain bright until 7 PM, then gradually fade out to complete darkness at 9 PM. This effect is purely atmospheric, but improves the game's appearance. The scripts driving the window glows are heavily optimised and there should be no noticeable slowdown. Load times for interior cells equipped with the glow effects may take slightly longer than before. The glow effects were added to over 25 of the Morrowind and Tribunal interior cells. Instructions are also included as to how to add the glow effects to other interior cells.

The Lighting Mod (Modular Version) by Sensei

Requires Tribunal

Dark dungeons, murky nights, no more sneaking in brightly lit taverns. Watch your torch slowly burn out taking away all hope of seeing what's around the next corner. Learn to value your light source. Hours of coding, tweaking, and adjusting incorporated to bring you a quality lighting mod. Interior and exterior locations' ambiance is darkened and fog colors are modified. Weather effects are included via .ini modifications. Light sources are modified in radius and color. Torches and lanterns are modified to be much more realistic and useful - if not essential. There are sneak (and stat) modifiers based on location, armor worn, and whether you are carrying a torch. A new ability - SneakEye: your eyes now adjust to the darkness. Makes your adventures more difficult - now you will need to plan ahead before venturing into the wilderness. Get caught without a lantern or torch and you ARE in trouble. Includes some development towards combating MW's penchant for sticking penalties whilst modifying skills and stats.

Windows Glow (Alternate Download Link) by Max aka ~NOBODY~

Makes every window in Morrowind glow. The exterior windows glow at night, and the interior ones glow during the day. Furthermore, this mod has no effect on FPS. The windows are animated to simulate candlelight. There are realistic effects, as every window was placed for end. For example, the windows of the guilds in Vivec will always be animated, as they are forced to use candles there all the time, but the interior dome of the same area glows constantly during the day, and doesn't glow at all at night, as it is affected by sun, etc.
