What are the best mods?

There are no best mods. Everything is a matter of personal opinion and preference. Some people may love to download 50 cheat mods and make their character level 500 with uber items, some people may think that is ridiculously stupid. Some people like a certain mod, some people hate it. Some people care about lore, some don't. Some care about spelling and grammar in mods, some don't.

It all boils down to whether YOU like the mod or not. Having said that, look around this Wiki for a good representation of generally accepted/recommended "best" mods. Again, you may or may not like every mod listed here, but you're very likely to find at least a few you like.

To find those mods, search through all the mod websites listed here, in addition to searching through Google (or other search engines). If, after doing that, you still cannot find a mod, then you can ask on a board, or by emailing one of the editors here.
